The choir is made up of 40 singers, making it a well balanced mixed voice choir. We enjoy singing a wide variety of music.
In 2024 we held a very successful and enjoyable Come and Sing Concert performing Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle at St Andrew’s Church in Eaton in March. Our July 2024 concert was “Summertime” with a variety of music from Mozart to The Beach Boys and featuring a Porgy and Bess medley.
We started 2025 with another Come and Sing Concert in March, this time performing Haydn’s Creation, and are now preparing for this year’s summer concert: “A Summer Medley”.
We rehearse at Poringland Catholic Church, Upgate, Poringland NR14 7SH. We are always looking for new members so if you are interested in joining the choir please email your details to [email protected]
